The new SDG flyer series SDGs to Go provides information in an understandable and clear way: What are the SDGs? What is SDG monitoring? What is 2030Watch?

On Sept. 22 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (CEST), the event "Fit for the futures: strategic foresight 4 SDGs" will be held as part of the 8th United Nations General Assembly Science Summit. In this session at the UNGA 77 Science Summit, experts from policy and academia will discuss the benefits of strategic foresight and its utility for implementing the SDGs, and explore various plausible methods to better prepare for the future.

The new German government has been in office for just under a year. Its assumption of office was accompanied by hopes for more sustainable policies and accelerated implementation of the SDGs. Developments in recent months have put the brakes on these hopes. We therefore want to take a look at current sustainability policy and ask: What is currently happening at national, European and international level to implement the SDGs and what is in store for the coming months?

On the dashboard recently published by the State Statistical Offices, visitors* can view how much progress has been made in different German states for each SDG.
