Newsletter II/2022: Full speed backwards?

The current newsletter of the Forum Environment & Development is dedicated to the impact of the Ukraine war on environment and development policy. In 24 contributions, experts from civil society and academia explain how the Russian war of aggression affects world food, agriculture, commodity policy, global financial systems, multilateralism, social discourses and people in Ukraine and worldwide. Particularly exciting are the contributions from three Ukrainian NGOs who describe how the war is making their work almost impossible and yet how they continue to fight for a sustainable Ukraine in a sustainable world. In addition, the newsletter includes dewy-eyed reports from conferences and negotiations.
