Civil society and transformation

Within the framework of a mission-oriented research and innovation policy, targeted and ambitious missions are to support the transformation of the economy and society. The missions are linked to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. So far, mission-oriented research and innovation policy has been based on commitment from research and industry. However, the full and active participation of civil society is a prerequisite for the success of the innovation process, and it is now to be more closely involved in the process.

With the project "Importance of civil society for the transformation of economy and society" , the D2030 initiative wants to pave the way for linking transformation policy and civil society groups. To close knowledge gaps and explore opportunities for participation and co-design, the D2023 initiative is conducting an online survey.

The results of the survey will be presented and discussed at the D2030 Futures Lounge on December 7, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
