Live Report from the High-Level Political Forum in New York

At an online briefing on 14 July between 13:00-14:00, representatives from civil society and academia will report live from New York via Webex on the state of discussions at the UN: What role does the HLPF play in the face of global crises and geopolitical upheavals? Can the UN's sustainability agenda still be saved? What impact do the war in Ukraine and the still smouldering COVID-19 pandemic have on the negotiations? What initiatives are on the horizon for 2023, when the mid-term review of the SDGs is due? The discussion partners include Marianne Beisheim from the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, Wolfgang Obenland from the Forum Environment & Development, Franka Bernreiter and Fabian Gacon, youth delegates for sustainable development, as well as Jens Martens and Bodo Ellmers from the Global Policy Forum.

Registrations are possible until 13 July via this link.
