SDG education work in South Tyrol

The province of South Tyrol is planning a competition for children and young people for the school year 2022/2023 to bring them closer to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The idea is that the children and young people contribute with products, projects or other initiatives related to the SDGs, the choice of medium is up to them. Children and young people of all educational levels and all three languages may participate, whether as a group or as a whole school class. However, supervision by an educational specialist or teacher is a prerequisite. The project shows that the province of South Tyrol has recognized the importance of educational work on the 2030 Agenda, and can serve as a model for other regions and actors worldwide.
