SDG 3 includes targets on reducing child and maternal mortality, communicable diseases, and combating non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and preventing traffic accidents and substance abuse. All people should have access to quality health services, including sexual and reproductive health care, and medicines, and be protected against financial risks. Depending on which indicators are used to measure progress, the achievement of the goal of a more sustainable Germany by 2030 is assessed differently. The progress calculation of the official German Sustainability Strategy comprises eight indicators; the list of indicators expanded and modified by 2030Watch supplements this with two indicators of its own.
