Green hydrogen - on the way to a good supply chain

Green hydrogen is considered a climate-friendly alternative to fossil fuels, as it is produced from water using wind or solar energy by means of electrolysis. As Germany does not produce enough renewable energy, African countries are being discussed as production locations. But how can a hydrogen partnership on an equal footing between exporting and importing countries succeed? What ecological, social, economic and political aspects need to be taken into account?

Experts from politics, business and civil society will be discussing questions like these at the symposium "Green hydrogen - On the way to a good supply chain" at the Gustav Stresemann Institute in Bonn on Thursday, December 14 and Friday, December 15, 2023. The event is aimed at people from politics, business, science and civil society as well as interested members of the public. Registration is requested by November 30, 2023. Participation is free of charge. Here you can register and find out more about the program.
