Publication of the brochure "Laws for Sustainability

Six years after the adoption of the 2030 Agenda with its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it is apparent that implementation in Germany continues to face major hurdles. One core problem is and remains their non-binding nature. With the SDG Decade of Action, which the UN Secretary-General has proclaimed for the next 10 years, the Decade of Commitment must now also begin. This publication therefore presents proposals for laws that the Bundestag can draft and pass in the 20th legislative period. The proposals are an offer, but also a checklist for the level of ambition shown by the Bundestag and the government. Because we do not want to and can no longer accept inactivity and non-commitment.
