SDG reporting at local level

Based on the National Voluntary Reviews, which are intended to monitor the implementation of the 2030 Agenda at the national level, Voluntary Local Reviews (LVR) systematically record and evaluate sustainability activities at the municipal level. More and more municipalities worldwide are carrying out such monitoring. However, the concrete implementation has not yet been standardized. The City of Mannheim and the Service Agency Communities in One World have already taken steps to create more clarity for municipalities in this regard. For example, a manual on the implementation of LVR has been prepared and a handout will be published soon.
