Online Event: "International Spillover Effects and their impact on SDG achievement across countries".

On Thursday, July 5, 2022, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) invite you to a side event to the High Level Political Forum (HLPF). The event will shine a spotlight on international spillover effects and how these, esp. in the Global South, influence success on the 2030 Agenda. In a globalized and interconnected world, activities in one country, such as greenhouse gas emissions or lax requirements for labor standards in international supply chains, can have significant impacts in other countries. The side event will share current scientific findings and discuss policy measures in the SDG context.
