Nothing works without climate adaptation

The recent article "Targeting climate adaptation to safeguard and advance the Sustainable Development Goals" published in Nature Communications focuses on the relationship between climate change and the SDGs. In their analysis of this interaction, the authors found that climate adaptation measures in the most vulnerable countries, specifically related to wetlands, rangelands, rivers, construction, water, electricity, and housing, are needed to achieve 68% of the SDGs. Findings from the research will help align national climate adaptation strategies with the SDGs so that they promote rather than hinder them.
