New SDG Award of the Senate of the German Economy

In December 2022, the Senate of German Business will present the SDG Award for the first time. The award is intended to honor companies, institutions or projects that make a special contribution to a more ecological and social market economy and are pioneers in terms of common good orientation. The aim of the award is to improve the anchoring of the SDGs in society as a whole. In particular, it aims to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals in the business community. The winner will be announced at the UN Climate Change Conference in Sharm ash-Shaish (Egypt), and the award will then be presented at the Annual Convention of the Senate of German Business in Munich. On May 24, the expert jury that will decide on the winner met for the first time.
