21 prime examples of successful SDG implementation

The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) published "SDG Good Practices: A Compilation of Success Stories and Lessons Learned in SDG Implementation," presented 21 examples of successful SDG efforts worldwide. These are a selection from a total of 700 SDG actions received by DESA in response to a public call. The aim of the publication is to inspire governments and stakeholders around the world to find innovative solutions to address SDG-related challenges, and to facilitate experience sharing and SDG partnerships. The 21 examples also show how some countries dealt with the Corona pandemic without losing sight of the 2030 Agenda.
