Annual Congress of the German Sustainable Building Council - 27/28.02.2024

A digital program will take place on both days from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in which all interested parties can participate free of charge. The event will focus on the topic of diversity. The program will take stock of progress towards sustainable construction in 2024 as well as future-oriented paths and visions for climate-resilient cities. The transformation will be considered, for example, in the context of biodiversity in outdoor spaces and with regard to legal foundations in the area of tension between ambition and reality. Under the title "Ready for 2030: How the DGNB is mapping out the path to the sustainable building of the future", a compass is to be drawn up that focuses on just a few topics that are fundamental to sustainable building. The focus will be on the extent to which it is already possible today to integrate these future requirements of the 17 sustainability goals into every construction project. Keynote speeches such as "Low Tech - High Nature" and "Plan B not Planet B" will provide inspiration and open our eyes to what is possible. Discussion rounds in themed rooms bring together expertise on the key challenges facing the industry.
