The German Sustainability Strategy comprises 4 indicators and measures the number of crimes, corruption at home and in the partner countries of German development cooperation, and the number of projects to secure, register and destroy small arms in the Global South. On this basis, progress is calculated at 128.7 percent.
Civil society SDG monitoring
2030Watch proposes an extended list of indicators. This extended indicator list includes the 4 official indicators and adds 3 indicators to thematically broaden the debate on SDG 16, drawing attention to illicit financial flows, arms exports and the right to information. From this supplementary set of indicators, progress is calculated at 82.6 percent.
