Slow implementation of the 2030 Agenda

According to the OECD report "The Short and Winding Road to 2030", the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in OECD countries is progressing only slowly. Although progress has been made on the SDGs, only a quarter of the goals have been achieved or nearly achieved. While OECD countries have succeeded in eradicating extreme poverty, there is still a need for action to lift people out of a situation of greatest deprivation. In terms of social justice, more needs to be done to strengthen the rights of women, young adults and migrants in particular, and to equalise their opportunities with those of the rest of society.
